FMC hosts interns in person in our office in downtown Washington, DC year-round to work with our International Programs, Domestic Programs, and Communications teams. Interns support FMC's programming with current and former Members of Congress, Congressional Staff, students, and our business and diplomatic partners. FMC offers both full- and part-time intern positions.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Interested in transatlantic, transpacific affairs and/or civics

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with event planning

  • Motivated, creative, flexible, responsible, and resourceful

  • Takes initiative and is a team player

  • Enjoys working in a politically diverse environment

  • Ability to commit to flexible 20- to 35-hour work week

Proficiency in German, Korean, or Japanese is beneficial but not required.
