Sixth Annual Congressional Charity Golf Classic Held July 22 at the Army Navy Country Club
The Congressional Charity Golf Classic was a huge success. On behalf of the US Association of Former Members of Congress (FMC), PGA of America (PGA) and Disabled Sports USA -Warfighter Sports, we would like to thank those who participated in the Congressional Charity Golf Classic held at the Army Navy Country Club on July 22, 2013 to benefit our wounded warriors. Please see more photos from the day of the event here.
If you are an avid golfer or if you only play once or twice a year, this is the day and the cause for you. The user friendly format is designed to promote relaxed camaraderie. Each player in a foursome takes every shot but only the best ball of the four is used and only the team score is posted.
For over 40 years, current and former Members of Congress have participated in an annual golf outing. In 2008, the event was transformed into a charitable cause to raise money for severely wounded warriors, some of whom will be playing alongside members and donors. All proceeds above our costs go to charity. All staff time is donated.
We look forward to having you as an important part of the
Congressional Charity Golf Classic next year.
See you in 2014!
